Temporary advancement incentives for Future Sailors to promote up to E-3!

On May, the Commander, Navy Recruiting Command (CNRC), RADM J. P. Waters, has authorized, effective immediately, temporary advancement incentives for Active Duty Future Sailors currently in the Delayed Entry Program (DEP) or those who enlist and meet the criteria.1

Under this initiative, eligible Future Sailors who voluntarily shift their boot-camp ship date onto active duty between June 2nd and July 3rd 2025 may be advanced up to paygrade E-3 (see second chart below). Additionally, Future Sailor who joins and ships in Fiscal Year 2025 in one of the designated critical ratings listed below are also eligible for advancement up to E-3 (see first chart below).

Future Sailors who enlist in this fiscal year or voluntarily adjust their shipping date to meet the criteria below are eligible for advancement up to paygrade E-3 (see charts below). Eligibility requires shipping within the designated time frame and satisfying all standard enlistment requirements.

Keep in mind the importance achieving advancement prior to leaving for boot camp - higher paygrade equals greater responsibility and more money! Do not miss this opportunity!
