Trouble joining server : CounterStrike

Hey guys.

It's Elite Force Seal G-395 for those who may have remembered me from back in the day.

For about a month and change I have been unable to connect to just the NavyCS server. When I get to the welcome screen where I press OK and start playing CS just freezes completely. I have not had this problem with anyone else so it would appear to be a localized problem.

Anyone who has had this problem or knows to how to fix it, any help would be MUCH appreciated ... after all, I love this server.

mmm. I will run an update for the server. Is your steam updated?

I have ran a server update.

Nothing, and yes Steam is updated because it spent a minute updating earlier tonight.

Anyone else having the problem? I can join just fine...

Maybe it is this. Sometimes when my game starts and the sound comes on, "Welcome to NavyCS..." my game minimizes. All I have to do then is click on the bottom bar and reopen the game.

I used to have that happen sometimes but not anymore, at least not that I can remember. But like I said the game gets to the welcome screen and just freezes on the spot. Anybody else having this issue?

mabye its cause your name on these forums has two zeros and a seven in it. just a thought.

For the record I've had the name PerfectAgent007 for the last eight years and in fact it's only in Counter-Strike that I go by Elite Force Seal G-395.

No I'm 19 going on 20 soon, and sadly that's parent, not parents. My mother has been dead for over 2 years.
