Its ppl like u stealing that game and hacking with your copies of it that make source lame to play. U have no idea the joy i got from changein my name Dwight_%n and watching thoss cheep ass boot leggers drop like flys. sad thing is the most i got one one drop was 6, thats half the players in the server with a stolen copy. Then number of players in source was almost halved for a few days when they released a new patch, y is that, cuz the booted copys dont have the automatic update. Go to valves webcite, they have enlisted those with booted copys and are planing one of the largest online law suits ever. Dont download this crap, just save up and buy it like everyone else.

things in russia is diff..so many ppl is getting what they have....its mostly go to market but a cd with plenty stuff on it for 2 buxx on theirs 100 dollar a month salary and they smart enough to go thru all this.
will you pay for game a half or even more (gold package) than your monthly paycheck?
i wish games as part of humanitarian help from higher class countries become a normal thing

Yes, i agree with dan, wether you are poor and in russia or whatever valve will show you no mercy, they are a multi billion dollar corporation and they dont want people stealing their games and whatenot, and plus this gives hackers ways to develop better hacks with it being "illeagle open source" cuz with these decoded demos/cracked copies of source, it will hurt them in the long run...and i would not reccomend downloading this unless you can offord to be sued. valve will find everyone b/c they know who has purchased source and hl2 and who has not, so if u have this i suggest you get rid of it as soon as you can b/c u dont need to be sued and ur rents will go to jail...just a heads up to dwight's post...

not to diss poor people but u know, if u cant offord it just save up. it will be worth it, and its not going anywhere anytime soon, its out the 15th!!!! woot but be careful ifu have it good in theory bad with the law.

Piracy will gain hackers, but piracy is a larger issue with the game because valve is getting to become more and more wealthy, i mean come on look at source they made it more realistic than any fps out there right now. so i suggest u dont #$@# with pirating that cus they will be goin after u just like the ppl that come after u when u have kazaa or are downloading child porn and whatnot but yea not a good thing to get into man. good thaught tho, just watch out

Dont steal the game.. If you cant afford it suck it up, stop crying, and get a cheaper hobby. If you honestly cant afford it your computer is probably too shitty to run it anyway so dont worry about playing it.
Secondly, endless please stop with all the short hand poop. I should not need to sit here and decode everything you oops, bad word here say. Use the SHIFT key, the SPACE BAR, and the BACKSPACE key when needed. Act like you went through the first few years of English class.
Lastly, If for any reason someone from Valve asks me if I know of anybody who steals this game. I will most definately give them the link to this forum and show them what you said and how you were helping to give people stolen copies of the game. I am pretty sure that it is a big offense to not only steal the game but to aid in many others stealing the game.
