USS Freedom (LCS-1)
The USS Freedom (LCS-1) is the first ship of the Littoral Combat Ship class. Commissioned on November 8, 2008 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - the first naval vessel to be built and commissioned on the Great Lakes since World War II.
