The Bremerton, Wash., based aircraft carrier is currently underway for the first time since returning from an eight and a half month deployment to the western Pacific. Carl Vinson will be conducting carrier qualifications and training with Carrier Air Wing (CVW-9) and units assigned to the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group (CSG).
