Instructors Wanted

If you are a prior Personnel Specialist, Yeoman or Logistic Specialist with the requisite experience as described below, the San Diego City College may have an opportunity for you as a contracted “A” School instructor. The instructor service contracts are available at Naval Technical Training Center (NTTC) Meridian, Mississippi.
Civilian contract instructors are needed at NTTC Meridian, MS for the following Navy “A” schools:
Personnel Specialist (PS)
Yeoman (YN)
Logistic Specialist (LS)
Applicants shall have a high school diploma or equivalent. Each individual shall have at least three years of experience as a full-time instructor teaching a subject matter closely comparable to the occupational specialty. In addition, applicants shall have successfully performed in an equivalent or directly related specialty for six years. The three-year and six-year requirements may run concurrently.
Certification as a Navy Journeyman Instructor, Master Training Specialist or equivalent preferred.
Possess virtual classroom/seat and online facilitation experience.

Back 2008,I was charge with possession of stolen car,which was dismiss on my record.but I was rather convicted on possession of stolen goods.and also I do have some traffic violations.can I still join the navy.thanks
