What I am really trying to get at is, one of my courses are not going towards graduation, so its' more of an 'elective'. I've tried to declare it a minor in order for the course to not show up as a course that's not going towards my degree. But the department claims its not extensive enough to be a minor. But, If I do good on this course without withdrawing, getting an incomplete, or an AU will I still be liable to pay for this course? And are these the only ways they find out? Thank you.

The VA adviser at your college should be able to answer specifically, if not, call the VA. Does this affect your benefits for the other courses that are towards graduation, as well as BAH even though it may still be at half-time status minus the one course not going towards graduation?
