City College of Chicago City Wide

While completing my enrollment requirements for starting college this fall, utilizing the Post-9/11 GI Bill, I hit a snag when trying to locate my transcripts for courses I completed while stationed in Keflavik, Iceland. My SMART transcripts listed the courses and provided the following address:

Job Opening in Millington

The U. S. House of Representatives has a program to hire veterans who have served on active duty since 9/11 and have a 30% or greater disability rating, for two year fellowships in various district offices of Congressional Members. You can learn more about the program at www.cao.house.gov

Permanent employment at the end of two years is a goal but not guaranteed.

Military Email Spam Scam

Just So Ya Know

For the past week I have been kept very busy with the wife’s latest “honey do” list. The list includes such tasks as tinting the windows of the house (to reduce air conditioning costs), installing hardwood floors in the family room and more, much more…

Just got off the phone with the VA education office out of St. Louis and asked an important question for those who served post September 11, 2001 but used their Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB) benefit prior to the Post-9/11 GI Bill becoming law – didn’t seem fair to me, anyway… (Read the rest of the article…)
