I am not saying this as a fish snob, I have lived in places where they did not have big fish, and I still went fishing. I am glad that I live in a place now where a small fish is 18" And it was Dam** hard to throw back a "too big" fish we have a slot on several fish, and while demented, I routinely find myself hoping for a smaller fish! That is a nice looking fish, congrats!

I am not saying this as a fish snob, I have lived in places where they did not have big fish, and I still went fishing.

I am glad that I live in a place now where a small fish is 18″

And it was Dam** hard to throw back a “too big” fish we have a slot on several fish, and while demented, I routinely find myself hoping for a smaller fish!
