I have been tagged – yes, just like the school yard game – by the Armchair Admiral himself. So now that I’m “It” I shall meet my obligations and reach out and tag others. I’m not a very fast runner so I might have to sneak up on ya :)
Here are the rules:
1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
5. Present an image of martial discord from whatever period or situation you’d like.
Here are my seven facts:
1) My job before the Navy was that of a commercial fisherman. Not “Deadliest Catch” type of fisherman but one that would ride on a fish box waiting for the driver to tell me when to throw the staff with one end of the net attached. We fished the waters of the Gulf of Mexico from Tampa to Crystal River for mullet and trout.
2) I would have been drafted to play professional football but I lacked the size, endurance, speed, strength, skill and talent they were looking for.
3) My one regret in life is not spending more quality time with my three sons. No excuses.
4) There is only one sport – college and professional football. The greatest teams are the Florida Gators and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
5) I hate horror movies. Not that I actually watch the whole movie, most the time I act like a little girl with my hands over my eyes or my fingers in my ears.
6) I am deathly afraid of heights, knees get all weak and I feel like throwing up. Regardless I still challenge myself and go on all the rides including Superman at Six Flags and Soaring at EPCOT.
7) I very much enjoyed being initiated into the Chief Petty Officers Mess – Truth serum WAS yummy.
Marital discord event had to be my latest case of foot-in-mouth that resulted in me needing a medic.
I tag the following:
Squid Noises
Amazing Military life
Snarky Navy Wife
She Who Waits
Civil War Navy
Lt Nixon Rants
Slightly Saltly

Do you think fear of heights and hatred of horror are genetic traits?
