Illegal Immigrants

Become a Voice

February 14th, 2007

People who enter the United States illegally are breaking the law. I am for legal immigration. The diversity of this great land is our strength.

Becoming an American citizen is much more than the social programs. Unlike many other countries on this planet you get to speak your mind, vote for your leaders, become a leader, enjoy relative safety, own property, become an entrepreneur, live where you can afford, make your own choices, practice an existing religion or even make one up. You can enjoy an inspected food source, have as many children as you want, be compensated for a disability, serve or not serve in the military and find sweet tea in a restaurant. You can aquire an education, be free and if you so desire you can leave. Citizenship in the United States is a treasure.

I say to the people who are here illegally, get registered and strive to become a citizen. The life experiences you will bring to the table could help improve what could be your country. Until you do the only value you will bring this country is completing menial jobs with a constant wonder when you will get caught.

  • Sometimes I was thinking that there’s no perfect country and no perfect systems. We just need to keep working and improving on what we have already had.
