When you find out the answer, see if you can find out why one pretty blond white girl gone mising captivates a nation and its airwaves for weeks, but yet another missing black girl merits not a peep… basically I think this story is so hot because Americans collectively are compelled by the reality TV question, “Are they dead? Or will there be a miraculous rescue?” Personally I think that if they are foiund alive, the rescue efforts should be gratis (as their prize); but if they are found dead, their estates should be billed, as punishment for getting America’s hopes up.
