Keep your eye on the ballKeep your eye on the ballOctober 1st, 2006We live in a world were people will attempt to cause harm to others to further their own agenda. I am not sure there is enough dollars in the world we could have used to stop the likes of 9-11. I am convinced we will suffer the same fate again because we will not remain as viligent. Already there are people standing up wanting to reduce our efforts. It amazes me we have people who are pissed off we didn’t do more killing before 9-11 yet are also pissed off we are doing killing today. We have got to stop arguing amonst ourselves and realize who the real enemy is. As I wrote before, we went into Iraq to oust a dictator who was thumbing his nose at world order, he violated numerous resolutions over many years. Once we did that the radicals decided to take their fight to us there, thank goodness - I like the location, it is better than it being here. The militant radical muslims who are doing this in the name of God will not stop. I think the only real long term fix to the problem is the oil producing countries in the middle east use their profits to create an economy that benefits all its people and not just the elite. The radicals are getting their recruits from the very poor of those countries. They sign up for it in the name of God to help themselves validate their exsistance. Give the people a say in how they should be governed and provide the assets they will become as blistfull as we have become. Democracy is people forcing government not government forcing people. We have it pretty good, doubt it…travel. Related StuffNo Comments »No comments yet. RSS feed for comments on this post. Leave a comment |
