Tropical Depression II

Tropical Depression II

July 18th, 2006

Here it is, 18 July 2006 and we have our 2nd tropical depression. This time last year we already had 5 named storms and according to many “global warming” people this year was going to blow away the 27 total named storms of 2005. Seems to me if a weatherman can’t tell you what the weather is going to be with certainty 3 days from now, listening to what they say is going to happen a year from now doesn’t make sense.

The worlds climate/temperatures flux over time - it is a shame people try to politicize it.

  • I agree, politicizing the weather to sell movie tickets, advance political agendas and win grant money for useless studies increases the panic of the human race but does not find any solutions to the fossil fuel problem. It is great news though. According to most astronomers the earth may be entering into another cycle of climate change. Why do you not hear this on the evening news. Incidentally, the sun is also warming up, about 1 degree every year or so , real cuase for alarm LOL.

  • I just read State Farm insurance wants to raise rates in Florida about 52% because of the potential increase of tropical storms.
